Professional History:

Mariana Ballard, an Assistant Instructor, brings 19 years of Taekwondo experience and holds a Fourth Dan Kukkiwon certification from World Taekwondo in Seoul, Korea. Beginning her training at the age of two at her parents' school in New Mexico, Mariana achieved the rank of Master and earned her Fourth Dan several years ago.

Throughout her competitive career as a cadet and junior, Mariana consistently ranked in the top three internationally in her division for six consecutive years and attained B-Team status representing the USA. Despite her commitments to college, clinic work, and lab duties, Mariana continues to teach and train at Korean Academy of Taekwondo. She teaches and assists students, passing on valuable lessons learned from years of competition and training.
