Professional History:

Monica Ballard brings 16 years of dedicated Taekwondo experience to her role as an Assistant Instructor. Starting her training at the age of three, she recently achieved the rank of Fourth Dan, certified by Kukkiwon in Seoul, Korea. Monica also has a strong competitive background, having competed as a cadet and first-year junior, securing victories such as the 2018 US Open and a Grand Slam in Colorado Springs. Her accomplishments include earning All-American status, reflecting her excellence in the sport.

Balancing her studies and work at an Urgent Care facility, Monica remains actively involved at the Korean Academy in both teaching and training, where she shares her extensive knowledge and passion for Taekwondo with students. Her dedication to teaching inspires current and new students at Korean Academy of Taekwondo.
